The Natchitoches Regional Airport, Alexandria International Airport, Marksville Airport, and False River Regional Airport, co-hosted the Louisiana Airport Managers Association (LAMA) 46th Annual Conference in downtown historic Natchitoches at the Natchitoches Events Center and anchor hotel, Chateau Saint Denis on October 15 - 18, 2017. The three day conference kicked off Sunday evening in the beautiful French-Quarter style Courtyard at Chateau Saint Denis Hotel. The reception included; live music from Steve Wells, hor d' oeuvres served by, nationally recognized, Lasyone's Meat Pie Restaurant, and a true downtown Natchitoches experience. Although, The Natchitoches Events Center was home base for the multi day conference, the attendees enjoyed being within walking distance to all of the unique shopping, dining and local attractions that makes Natchitoches such a unique meeting destination. The event concluded on Tuesday with a spectacular firework show on the banks of Cane River Lake, sponsored by the City of Natchitoches. A special thank you to Craig George with Pyroman Fireworks for providing our guest with the wonderful display . Craig is no stranger to the banks of Cane River Lake, where he has provided hundreds of firework shows over the years during our nationally recognized, "City of Lights" Christmas Season.
